Ann Nicolaysen LMP Ann Nicolaysen LMP is the owner and founder of Integrative Body Works and maintains an office at Queen Anne Naturopathic Center. Ann has been practicing massage therapy since 1992 and offers a highly developed unique and dynamic blend of Massage, Movement, and Myofascial Therapies to promote health through body awareness. She is a former massage instructor, and has worked with Salle Auriol (Seattle's fencing club) as their sport's massage therapist, attending their national competitions. In 2003 Ann completed a comprehensive study of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Michael Shea, Ph.D. and is a registered craniosacral therapist. For twenty-five years,
Ann's path has been the study and practice of the performing and healing
arts. She is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in acting.
During the 1980's she performed with Intiman Theater and helped to spearhead
"Living History", an artist in residence and educational outreach
program. Prior to acting, Ann began this path with her love of dance and
movement and taught aerobic dance and fitness at Edmonds Community College
for five years. Ann's schedule is Monday through Thursday with day and evening appointments available. Marissa Brooks, BS, LMP Marissa is a Licensed Massage Practitioner, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Biology. She has been licensed and practicing massage therapy since 1996 and joined Queen Anne Naturopathic Center in May 2005. Marissa is a former massage instructor, and volunteers her time with The Massage Therapy Foundation, and DAWN (Domestic Abuse Women’s Network). Additionally, Marissa works at The Center for Health Studies in Behavioral and Complimentary and Alternative Medicine research. Massage Care as an
integral part of an individual’s Health Care, is the unique approach
of Marissa’s work. Patients with acute and chronic injuries and
surgeries, emotional and physical pain and dynamic life stresses benefit
from Marissa’s work.
Appointments are available with Marissa on Fridays and Saturdays, in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Patient referrals have become instrumental in the growth of Marissa’s practice.
