MEET THE DOCTORS: Bill Caradonna, R.Ph. N.D. Dr. Bill Caradonna started helping people with their health in the mid 1970’s as a pharmacist. During several years of practice, he listened to the frustration of many of his customers regarding drug treatment. This included complaints about the chronic need for antibiotics without long term resolution of the problems, including chronic ear infections, chronic sinus infections, and chronic bladder infections. Customers did not like a life of taking drugs without other treatment options for conditions like high blood pressure, diabetes and asthma. They were also concerned with the need for more and more drugs to control symptoms and drug side effects, and the expense of the drugs. In the early 1980’s he moved to Santa Fe, NM where he studied natural medicine for 3 years at two alternative medicine schools and received degrees in Massage Therapy, Natural Health Sciences, and Therapeutic Nutrition. He also received training in Iridology, which became a specialty. In 1988, he moved to Seattle, WA, and was invited to teach at Bastyr University. He taught there as an Adjunct Faculty member from 1989 - 1997. During this time, he entered the ND program, and graduated in 1997. He has been in private practice in Seattle as a licensed Naturopathic physician since that time. Dr. Caradonna has authored articles that have been published in the Journal of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Townsend Letter for Doctors, The Protocol Journal for Botanical Medicine and the Iridology Review. He has lectured for the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Naturopathic Association of British Columbia, the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and Gaia Herbal Symposiums. He has been interviewed for many magazine articles, and has appeared on KOMO TV Northwest Afternoon and ABC TV Good Morning America. He has taught Iridology seminars for many years across the US and in Canada and Australia. Dr. Caradonna maintains professional memberships in the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Barbara Kreemer, ND, DHANP Dr. Barbara Kreemer became interested in homeopathy after treatment cured her daughter of chronic ear infections. She had graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, NY, but left a cooking career in order to become a homeopathic practitioner. Dr. Kreemer started studying homeopathy in 1985. She graduated from Bastyr University in 1995 as a Naturopathic physician and is board-certified by the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians. 100% of her practice is as a Homeopathic specialist.
